Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement! Our church can offer you a colourful setting for your wedding and if you're thinking of getting married at St Thomas's we would love to hear from you. We can help you plan the occasion and can offer you marriage preparation and support in the lead-up to your wedding.

A church wedding enables you to celebrate this important occasion in the presence of God and to begin your married life with God’s blessing.  All are welcome to a Church of England wedding regardless of your beliefs, whether you are christened or whether you go to church or not.

Unlike many wedding venues, the church is interested in much more than just your wedding day and really cares about the rest of your married life together. As a church, after your wedding day, we will be here for you whenever you need us. You might like to bring back a child for a christening or you might like to visit us again at Christmas or Easter. We will be here for you whenever you need us, and you will always receive a warm welcome when you come back. As well as playing a special role in your wedding day, the church would love to become a part of your future story too.

If you live in the Parish of Beaconsfield, or if you worship at St Thomas's week-by-week, you are able to be married in our church. To find out what parish you live in, use the postcode search on the A Church Near You website.

Please be aware that the Church of England is only able to offer wedding services taking place between one man and one woman. Also, if this is not the first marriage for one or both of you, you'll need to speak about that when meeting with a minister.
